Father's Day Blog Hop plus Stamp Preview Party Day 4 with GIVEAWAYS!!!

Welcome to the All About Dads Blog Hop! We have gathered a talented group of crafters to share their projects with you for Father's Day. We hope that we are able to provide you with lots of great ideas for all the special men in your life.

If you have come from (Rhondas) at (http://www.craftingwithblue.blogspot.com/), then you are in the right place. If you stumbled upon my blog and want to hop along, you can do so by starting at Jen's Blog at http://www.memorieswithjen.blogspot.com/.

This project I have made for my own dad who absolutely LOVES coffee. He is a coffee conniseur and is at any time going back and forth between finding the best coffee and coffeepot in the world to make it! My poor mom had to put up with testing 4 different Bunn coffe makers to see which one is the best. lol! He also has a big loyalty to his brand of coffee, which changes every few months! lol! Last few months was Starbucks Robust, and now it's some specialty brand from Sams I believe. lol! So this one is for my sweet dad! My boys call him Pappy!
I'm very blessed to have such an amazing father in my life. Although my father and I were not close until just a few years ago. I really didn't even know him much growing up--I know that sounds very sad, but it's quite true. He is a wonderful person, but was just very busy in his life that my mother was the one who nurtured and spent time with me and my sister. My mother was a full time drafting enginer, and I often think how hard it must have been for her--but she always spent such special time and attention on me and my sister.
I never really knew who my father was as a person until I grew up and married and life slowed down for him. Getting to know him the past few years has been a treat for me, and I love listening to his stories and wisdom. Listening to him tell stories about his childhood is my favorite thing in the world. It's amazing how much wisdom can be passed down when your heart is wide open and ready to accept, isn't it?
I think that's what life is about...accepting the love we have right now, and letting go if someone isn't ready to share with you. Just keeping that open heart ready for the right time, and keeping it full of love and forgiveness.
Here is a very simple card for the most amazing PAP in the world!!! I even have a video for you if you are totally BORED out of your mind. I think I've had maybe a few hours of sleep so this video might show it! lol! I guess I needed my own cup of Joe! I also had an overwhelming day today--just one of those must have cup of joe days for sure...Like Father, like Daughter! lol!

Graduation Cards

Graduation Cards!
This must be the year for Graduations, I had four cards to make.  I used the Everyday Pop-Up Cards Cartridge from Cricut.  I loved this Graduation Cap!   I also used my Cricut and Gypsy to cut everything out.  I love the Gypsy it's so easy to weld things.  The stamps are My Creative Time stamps.  (Follow Your Dreams)

If you haven't checked out Kristal's stamps yet,  you really need to hop over to her blog.

Stamp Party Preview Day 3 of 4 yay!

http://www.gettingcricky.com/2011/06/stamp-party-preview-day-3-of-4-yay.html

Hi everyone! It's day 3 of my NEW stamp line release! I'm SO excited! I have ONE more surprise set to share with you tomorrow~!!
Today I want to share my third set Freedom Isn't Free. I created this set with my hubby who is a Naval Officer for sentiments just right for cards sent overseas to military members! Perfect for OWH, Operation Write Home!
This set features masculine and vintage type fonts that I hope will be versatile for you in sending your cards to thank that special hero in your life!

Semper Fidelis means Always Faithful used commonly in the Marines, and Semper Paratus is Always Ready used commonly in the Coast Guard--just for those that might not know!
Below are two projects I've created using my newest Freedom isn't Free set! Remember that $1 from every set sold goes to Intrepid & Fallen Heroes; an organization that gives rehabilitative services to severely disfigured and mangled members returning from the war. I remember seeing a guy who came home with almost no face. I cried; and then cried some more when I learned he was only 19 and engaged. His fiance couldn't even recognize him. Make sure you read about my charities when you hit on the Products tab at the top of my page.

Thanks SO much for letting me share a little of my DAY with you.
If you are interested in checking out this set or any of my other stamps, please click HERE or at the Products tab at the top of my blog. Right now I have free shipping during previews; and you will be the first to receive your set in 2 weeks!

STAMP PARTY!! Official Previews of My Stamps: Positive Thoughts Day 2 of 4

Check out day 2 of Kristals Stamp Sets.  Make sure you check out her video also.
http://www.gettingcricky.com/2011/06/stamp-party-official-previews-of-my.html

Hi everyone! I'm doing one preview of my newest stamp line each day this week. Yesterday was Fashionable Friends which goes to help benefit the charity: Cancer Angels here in San Diego, CA. This agency gives atleast 95% to Cancer 4 level patients, regardless of which cancer they are battling. That was important to me--when researching charities--that they give atleast 85% directly to the people in need, and also that the money stays here in America.
Another important part of choosing my stamps was making sure they are manufactured and assembled completely here in America.
Whew! I've been BUSY as a bee for the past month doing all this. I'm such a sap. I've been researching all my charities, and that's why it's taking me a while to pop up set 4 which will be Saturday...becuse I've been researching to find a GOOD charity that benefits feeding the hungry--and yes I've done alot of crying the past few days. I'm such A softie--so when I read all these reviews, and stories I cry! YEEESH!
Okay so on to my 2'nd PREVIEW! This set was very dear to my heart, as they are all sayings I use alot, and knew they would be perfect on cards I send out. Most of the cards I send are Encouragement Cards. So I tried to make this set versatile, so they can be used on the inside and outside of the card. There are 19 sentimetns on this 4x6 sheet so they are small, but not teeny tiny--just perfect for card makers!
I've made two projects using this set so far but I know this will be the set that gets ALOT of us from me...because I love inspiring and encouraging others. Scroll down to see my newest video!
This set goes to benefit by SIGNATURE Charity: Storefront Shelter which takes the street 6 nights a week looking for homeless children here in San Diego, CA. 86% of it's proceeds go directly to the children.
I think it's a good thing to do--EVERY DAY all the time. Find little ways to be charitable in your resources, both time, money, and acts of good will. YOU never know who you are touching, and how far your small act of kindness will go. I'm sorry I'm such a SAP but this is me...I just don't think you can out-do God.
If you are  interested in my 2'nd set: Positive Thoughts just CLICK HERE to check it out or purchase....or click on my Products tab. I'll see you back here tomorrow with another stamp preview--thanks for letting me share. This is about all the advertisement you will see from me in these 4 days.
